The Influence of Final Project Product Development on Students’ Entrepreneurial Motivation

While entrepreneurship education in the university gained its importance as an effort to develop of younger generation, majority unemployed Indonesia are undergraduate graduates. The students Culinary study program Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) required take Final Project course form Project-based learning. In this course, each student is given a project new food product innovation following rules Research and Development (R&D) steps with 4 D method, namely define, design, develop, disseminate. This expected be superior for culinary so that can become entrepreneurs by making real business venture after graduating. aims to: 1) examine student's orientation development Culinary, 2) investigate entrepreneurial motivation students, 3) determine effect on motivation. Survey research was employed using quantitative descriptive methods regression analysis achieve objectives. sample calculated Slovin formula from total population 120 people order obtain count 103 people. results show that: final good moderate categories. highest mean obtained aspect formulas ingredients product, while lowest aspects technology used manufacture, medium high category general aspect, specific there low, results. need achievement goal setting, has positive significant 28% students' Suggestions based findings also discussed.
